Cancellation &
Complaints.
This policy explains how to request cancellation of a DELTOCIU consulting engagement and how to raise a concern about our service. Project-specific terms in a signed proposal or agreement may provide more detail and take precedence where permitted by law.
Before a project is agreed
Submitting an inquiry, requesting a quote, or discussing a potential project does not by itself create a paid engagement. You may stop the discussion at any time before a written proposal is accepted. A website form completion is only a local browser confirmation and does not send a cancellation or complaint request; use the direct contact information below.
How to request cancellation
For an agreed project, send a written cancellation request to projects@deltociu.com. Include the organization name, the project or proposal reference if one exists, the contact person, and the requested effective date. Please do not send sensitive credentials or personal information that is unnecessary to identify the engagement. We will review the written agreement, work completed, commitments already made, and any applicable legal rights before confirming the next steps.
Work already performed
Consulting is a professional service performed over time. Unless an agreement or applicable law requires a different result, fees for work already performed and agreed non-cancellable third-party costs may remain payable. If a project has not started, any payment treatment should follow the signed proposal or agreement. We do not promise an automatic full refund merely because a completed document is no longer needed by a client. A final accounting, where relevant, should identify the work and charges considered.
Changes instead of cancellation
Sometimes a client needs to pause, narrow, or redirect a project. Please contact us as early as possible so the impact on deliverables, timing, and fees can be discussed. A change becomes part of the project only when agreed through the written process set out in the applicable engagement terms. A conversation alone does not replace an agreed scope or waive an amount already due.
How to make a complaint
Send a written description to projects@deltociu.com with the relevant service, what happened, when it occurred, and the outcome you are requesting. If the concern relates to a particular deliverable, identify the section or version and explain the issue. Supporting information helps us review the matter, but please avoid unnecessary personal or confidential third-party material. We may ask for clarification so that the concern can be understood accurately.
Review and response
We will acknowledge a complaint within a reasonable period and review it against the agreed scope and available records. Depending on the issue, an appropriate response may include an explanation, a correction within the agreed scope, a proposed change order, or a discussion of fees under the agreement. A request for a specific outcome does not guarantee that outcome. If further investigation is needed, we will explain what information is required and provide an update when practical.
Unresolved matters and records
If an issue remains unresolved, the dispute-resolution provisions in the signed agreement, if any, and applicable law govern the next steps. Nothing in this policy removes rights that cannot be waived by contract. We may retain relevant correspondence and project records for legitimate business, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes, consistent with the Privacy Policy and any agreed confidentiality terms.
Policy updates
We may revise this policy as our services or procedures change. The date at the top identifies the current version. For a signed engagement, changes to a project-specific cancellation term should be handled according to the written agreement rather than assumed from a later website update. Contact us before accepting a proposal if you would like to discuss cancellation arrangements for your particular scope.
